Online Support Group
Support Network Groups are designed to assist resource parents with in-service training, community resource information, peer support, and communication with DHS. Attending on a regular basis is not only a great way to get the emotional and practical support you need to succeed, it's a great way to stay on top of the training requirements you need to fulfill.
Online Support Group Meeting: Problematic Sexual Behaviors
July 23, 2026
Virtual Event
Facilitators: Dialma Hildreth and Jarrod Moore, NRCYS Trainers
Caring for children who have experienced trauma can bring complex and challenging behaviors, sometimes including Problematic Sexual Behaviors (PSB), and foster parents should never have to navigate these concerns alone. Join our upcoming Foster Parent Support Group Session focused on building understanding, confidence, and practical strategies when supporting youth with PSB. This educational, trauma informed, and judgment free session will help foster parents understand what PSB is and what it is not, view behavior through a trauma informed lens, explore age appropriate supervision and safety strategies, and learn ways to support healing while maintaining a safe home. Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with other foster parents in a respectful and confidential setting led by trained professionals. You are not alone, and support makes a difference.
Parents who attend the entire Zoom call will earn 1.5 hours of in-service training credit toward your annual 12-hour requirement. Come connect and learn with other kinship, foster, and adoptive families.
