Child Welfare Training Collaborative (CWT)
SUPPORTING THE SAFETY, PERMANENCY, AND WELL-BEING OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES ACROSS OKLAHOMA THROUGH TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT OF CHILD WELFARE PROFESSIONALS
The University of Oklahoma National Resource Center for Youth Services, in collaboration with The University of Oklahoma Outreach Center for Public Management and The University of Oklahoma School of Social Work, works with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Child Welfare Services, to form the Child Welfare Training Collaborative (CWT).
CWT focuses on improving and enhancing Oklahoma’s child welfare workforce through curriculum development, training coordination, and training for child welfare professionals.

NRCYS contributes to the collaborative by drawing on years of experience in the areas of:
- Training needs assessment
- Curriculum development
- Trainer development
- Training coordination and event logistics
- Data collection and training evaluation
