Is the Extended Medicaid Option Available for Youth Until 21?

Yes

Youth are eligible for Medicaid after aging out of foster care at the time they turned 18.  They are eligible until age 21. A re-determination review is done every 12 months. Residency is the only required verification for the review.

Can Youth in Care Get Driver’s Licenses?
