Integrating a Youth Development Perspective Into Transition Planning: A Curriculum for Child Welfare Outreach Workers

This curriculum is designed for youth workers assisting youth as they plan to transition from foster care. It infuses concepts of positive youth development, cultural perspectives, and relational and task models of practice into transition-related skills for youth work. These skill areas include: engaging youth, information gathering, transition planning, group work, & addressing problem behaviors.
